People Development Advisor

We are looking for a Learning and Development specialist to join the team and support the delivery of our People Development strategy. The People Development Advisor opportunity will see you immersed in learning design and delivery, sourcing and curating learning content and project coordination. You will play a pivotal role in delivering cohesive learning programmes, working closely with our Events team to plan, coordinate and execute the core learning elements.

Reporting to the Senior People Development Manager, this role can be based out of our London or Bristol office and we're happy to consider this role on a part time or fulltime basis.

We are a supportive team and you will become part of the fabric of the People Development function, benefitting from 1:1 management and support, exposure to the team and our respective expertise as well as insight in to the firm, our culture and development programmes.

What you'll do

The role will include:

  • Designing and delivering learning to support the implementation of firm wide projects and programmes
  • Working with internal and external subject matter experts to prepare and deliver core content
  • Sourcing and curating high quality learning content and resources
  • Generating learning content to develop our online and resource based learning provision and to support existing programmes
  • Leading on the coordination and management of the Firm's induction programme and Business Services Development Programme
  • Working with the Senior People Development Manager to deliver operational management of People Development team resource and budget

What we're looking for

This role is critical to the organisation and delivery of People Development initiatives and so we are looking for someone with excellent, established co-ordination skills, coupled with experience of delivery and facilitation skills.

We would like you to be able to pick up and run with existing learning projects and deliverables and so previous experience in a Learning and Development function would be advantageous.

While you don't need to have had law firm experience, you will need to be confident delivering learning and speaking to colleagues at all levels throughout the organisation.

You'll also need to demonstrate:

  • The ability to engage an audience (both in person and virtually)
  • Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
  • Experience of creating and sourcing learning content and resources
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills
  • An adaptable way of working, able to problem solve and tackle challenges head on

Salary and benefits

We offer competitive salaries and generous benefits. We value the health and wellbeing of our people and our wide range of initiatives and benefits support this.
