We are excited to announce an opening for a Non-Functional Test Domain Expert (SME) within Group NFT Factory shared services. This role is pivotal in governing, managing, and leading various non-functional testing aspects, including performance, resilience, security, and accessibility, as part of change delivery across enterprise services.

You will be at the forefront of enabling advanced Non-Functional Test practices focused on leading the performance, resilience & security test services for Bank of Ireland.
In this Role, you will
- Play a role NFT Technical Go-To person for Project Managers, Product Owners, Development Architects, Development Leads.
- Utilise and Improve Technical non functional test Frameworks, process, criteria, tools standards
- Identify and Implement Automation assigned programs
- Provide a re-usable approach for non functional testing performance, infra and application(OAT) testing services across all technologies for all business units
- Manage NFT/Performance/OAT risk/RAIDs
- Collaborate with service partners and suppliers to deliver projects to high quality, on time
- Work in an Agile and Waterfall development, Automation and Service delivery environment
- Gather and Interpret Business, Technical & Service Acceptance Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) and Solution Design to form the Test Design to perform End to End Performance testing
What will make you stand out?
You are a technical leader with solid experience managing E2E Performance and other non-functional testing such as security, resilience and accessibility testing. You are an expert in NFT and are confident in providing guidance to senior partners, Project Managers, Development Architects, Development Leads etc. in relation to NFT. You are a great teammate with good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Experience and/or strong knowledge in the following are necessary to apply:
- Open Text Performance Centre, Jmeter and other standard performance testing tools.
- Application performance management tools - AppDynamics(preferred), HP Diagnostic & Dynatrace
- Implementing shift left NFT testing approaches
- Languages C/C++, Java
- Managing Agile NFT performance/OAT testing
- DevOps & performance continuous integration testing.
Essential Qualifications
- NFT tooling certification in LoadRunner, AppDynamics
- Test certification in Test management, accessibility, resilience

Our NFT Factory sits within the IT Engineering Shared services function and provides efficient and effective end-end managed services. As a team, we aim to assure Operational Readiness and on-and-off bank network integration to ensure IT risk frameworks are addressed. We cover performance, resilience, security (with various other Operational Acceptance Testing) and on production scale environments.
This is a hybrid onsite role and can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as Dublin. Travel will be required for in-person collaboration - exact frequency to be agreed with manager. #LI-HYBRID #IJ-HYBRID
