The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Nations & Regions Marketing Manager.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing and Events, the Nations and Regions Marketing Manager will support the Nations and Regions Senior Managers on the wider development and delivery of integrated marketing, communications, and events strategy, whilst leading on a number of key elements. They will lead marketing throughout all regions and nations of the UK, not just Fund areas.

Working closely with the UK Network (a field team that seeks to address geographical imbalances in smaller business access to finance across the UK), the Nations and Regions Marketing Manager will develop and deliver campaigns that aim to educate and enable intermediaries to better support smaller businesses on their finance journey, through the provision of information, support and guidance on products, services, and content to improve their access to finance. Some campaigns will also be targeted at smaller businesses directly.

The Nations and Regions Marketing Manager will also support the Senior Managers on the delivery of marketing, communications and events plans for the Nations and Regions Investment Funds.

To be considered for this role you must have significant marketing, communications and events management experience ideally within a financial services background in debt, equity and investment. You will be highly organised and efficient with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, managing priorities and deadlines.

You will be able to demonstrate clear and effective communication with experience managing external and internal stakeholders with appropriate understanding of level and seniority.

You will have a flexible approach to tasks and strong teamwork ethic along with experience of implementing brand guidelines with third parties and, exceptional attention to detail with excellent writing and grammar skills for proof-reading and correction.

You will have the ability to understand complex scheme details and impart this information to Intermediaries in plain English and, a preferred knowledge of the regional policy and investment landscape along with strong writing skills for digital, print and social media.

Experience using event management tools would be desirable and professional Marketing Communications qualifications preferred however, we also offer support for professional development provided through Government Communication Service.
