Murex Engineering Lead (Corporate & Commercial Banking)

What is the opportunity?

As a Murex Engineering Lead, you will support the ongoing success and transformation of the Corporate and Commercial Banking Factory (C&CB). You will co-ordinate and deliver multiple releases across our Murex Platform for the Business.

You will be a key support to the Head of Corporate & Commercial Banking.

In this role, you will:

• Build Murex MX.3 engineering capability with the Corporate & Markets Engineering & Delivery function at Bank of Ireland
• Manage the overall Release schedule for deployments for Murex
• Providing technical direction and leadership to engineering squads
• Inputting to the process to assess whether incoming change is 'engineering ready' and works with business and IT colleagues to establish and manage entry requirements
• Defining the technical capabilities and resource profiles required within the squads, and works with internal resource management and external delivery partners to ensure the right capability is in place within the teams
• Applying standard methodology within the squads

What will make you stand out?

• Proven experience as Engineering Lead in the Corporate and Markets domain on the Murex Platform
• Experience with Test Automation Frameworks such as MX Test
• Murex MX.3 experience and MX.3 certification would be particularly advantageous
• Large scale delivery experience
• Experience of working in a highly regulated environment
• Strong systems integration experience, including legacy systems integration and on-premises to SaaS integration

Essential Qualifications

BSc and/or MSc in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or equivalent professional experience in the Murex Application

Our Corporate & Commercial Banking Murex teams sits within the Corporate & Commercial Banking Engineering and Delivery Factory and provides critical Engineering services to support the Bank's change programme of initiatives. The Corporate & Commercial Banking Engineering and Delivery factory operates a 'one team' culture delivering across Design, Engineering and Test. We operate across a diverse range of technology and business domains collaborating with other engineering functions, Enterprise Architecture and business collaborators.
