We're expanding our business and recruiting Motor Claims Handlers to join our vibrant team, based in Haverhill town centre. If you have a natural ability to relate to people and are passionate about delivering excellent customer service, then you could be the perfect addition to our team.

Working within our Commercial Motor Claims Team, you'll be answering calls from our customers and Third Parties reporting their motor claims. The types of claims typically received in the department are accident claims, personal injury claims as a result of road traffic incidents and even property damage due to collisions. Every claim is different and that's what gives the job so much variety!

Key responsibilities:

• Answering calls from our customers and brokers relating to motor claims.
• Ensuring each customer feels valued and supported with their claim, providing them with personalised and accurate information based on your expertise and training.
• Managing your own caseload.
• Working collaboratively with your team.
• Accurately inputting data to ensure a smooth customer journey.
Working hours & shift pattern:

You'll work full time, 35 hours per week over 5 days, Monday to Friday with 8-hour shifts between the hours of 9am and 5pm

Induction & training:

Induction Date: 5th May 2026

You'll receive a comprehensive onsite induction from our specialist trainers to set you up for success in your new role. Our market leading 12-week training programme will be delivered onsite at our Haverhill Office. Following training and once you demonstrate competency in your role, you'll then transition to a hybrid working model, where you'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future.

Typically, you should expect to start working a Hybrid way of working around the 6-month mark, depending on your individual development which includes quality and productivity metrics being met. Your skills & experience:

• Exceptional customer service experience. If you come from a customer facing role, hospitality, or retail background and want to explore a new sector, this could be a great opportunity for a career change.
• We'll provide all the technology and training, and in return we ask you to bring your enthusiasm, passion for customer service.
• You'll have a natural talent for connecting with people, quick problem-solving ability and positive, can-do attitude.
• You're a great listener, confident communicating over the phone and using computers.
• Passionate about working as part of a collaborative team.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.

This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
