You will join a team of over 1,000 B2B specialists globally, being agency of record for some of the biggest progressive B2B brands in the world, such as JP Morgan, Sage, Workday, PwC, Intel, Vodafone and Ikea where we provide service across our many practice areas, including Media, Creative, Insights and more

The role
As the Media Strategist you will report into a Strategy Partner. You'll grow our clients' businesses through delivering compelling media strategies that diagnose the communications challenge and identify the role for media in overcoming it, providing clear tactics that inform activation.

You'll be part of a core strategic team, working across a range of clients learning every day and you will contribute to new business pitches, training and the growth of experimentation throughout the agency.

Tasks include:

  • You will be responsible for 2-3 core clients, leading / supporting strategic planning conversations throughout the year
  • You will work together with the planning and activation teams and at other Dentsu functions and external partners, to make great work happen
  • Support Pitches: Collaborate with both media and creative teams to develop and present compelling pitches to clients, showcasing media strategies
  • Data Analysis: Use data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions
  • Innovation and Testing: Embrace a brave approach to testing new ideas and strategies, promoting a culture of innovation within the team
  • Media Literacy: Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in the media landscape to ensure strategies are current
  • Each member of the strategy team is encouraged to take ownership of internal cultural projects linked to their personal passion points and strengths - from training to facilitation to inspiration - shaping our working lives whilst in the office or remotely

Qualifications

  • 3 years plus in a media role
  • Strategy and account planning experience within Media
  • Must be curious about the outside world, willing to defy conventional wisdom and able to inspire change
  • And an understanding of basic statistical concepts and track record of experimentation would be advantageous
  • Experience of media tools such as GWI, Similarweb and SEMrush
