Role Purpose

The Dentsu Media Line of Business (Carat, iProspect and dentsuX) is looking for a New Business Manager to support with the development and delivery of best-in-class digital media pitches and prospecting that sets us apart from the competition, positioning us as the go-to partner for transformational media and digital opportunities.

We're looking for someone that is passionate about digital, marketing, and driving business growth and wants to be part of a dynamic, high-performing, friendly, and innovative team.

Key responsibilities

  • Be part of the Business Development team to meet Dentsu revenue targets through prospecting, new business and client growth.
  • Lead and support digital pitches and business development projects from start to finish
  • Take the lead and support with the innovative delivery of RFIs and RFPs.
  • Project manage and support the development of creative content, case studies and credentials.
  • Support pitch teams in a variety of functions: production, facilitating brainstorms, competitive research, data requirements, logistics, rehearsals and pitch theatre.
  • Integrate with the wider dentsu new business community and attend fortnightly meetings.
  • Ownership of Salesforce, managing and reporting all new business.
  • Support prospecting efforts to build pipeline momentum, collaborating with marketing to drive case study development and ensure outreach across all media opportunities with a focus specialised digital channels (search, social, addressable, commerce etc.).

Qualifications + Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in new business or client management (UK or international) within the advertising sector - Media, Creative, Production, Digital etc.
  • A digital native who can bring a digital-first perspective to pitch briefs and prospecting, offering insights on digital trends, technologies, and audiences.
  • Strong Project Management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Thrives under pressure, with strong organisational and people skills.
  • Positive, ambitious self-starter who takes initiative and drives projects forward.
  • Effective collaborator and counsellor, with a focus on teamwork and relationship-building.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to build relationships at all business levels.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and values-driven, thriving in a high-energy environment.

  • This role will be based in our London office where we currently operate under hybrid working arrangements and you will be expected to work from the office at least 2 days a week.
