A Security Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the security operations of an organization, including the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and standards. What are the minimum requirements you need for the role?

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years minimum experience in a security operations engineering role
• Experience with the following tools is desirable:
  • Microsoft Defender
  • Microsoft Purview
  • Microsoft Intune
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Amazon Web Services
  • Windows 11 Operating System
  • Linux

What is your role and your responsibilities?

• Developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the security of the organization's assets and information.
• Managing a team of security professionals, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Conducting security risk assessments and implementing appropriate measures to mitigate identified risks.
• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards, including data protection and privacy regulations.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure the security of the organization's assets and information.
• Responding to security incidents and leading incident response efforts.
• Staying up to date with the latest security trends and developments and implementing appropriate measures to ensure the security of the organization.
