Duties: To provide leadership and operational management of Adult District Day Services.

An opportunity has arisen within the ACS Adult Disability Day Service to appoint a permanent grade 10 Locality Manager.

You will work as part of a county-wide management team who are committed to providing highly personalised, quality daytime support to people who have a learning disability, autism, or physical disability.

You will oversee the planning of personalised support for people with a disability and involve all relevant stakeholders in the process. You will plan to deliver commissioned support maintaining the continued well-being of the individual, promoting social opportunities, and achieving positive outcomes for the individual.

There is a requirement to demonstrate the ability to lead and develop staff teams as well as provide operational and supervisory management. You will be responsible for leading the assessment and support planning process for individuals using the service, both during transition and after, working closely with other professionals and family members to do so.

You will need to demonstrate that you are an effective communicator both in writing and verbally. You will need to be flexible and highly motivated, with an in-depth understanding of the values base for the service and those of personalised service. You will be responsible for providing oversight and management of the service budget and should be able to implement and use systems to monitor this.
