Lead Enterprise Architect Customer

What is the opportunity?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a customer architect to join our team. You will be responsible for designing and driving customer-centric solutions that align with the Banks's strategic goals and enterprise architecture. The role focuses on understanding customer needs, collaborating across technology and business teams to deliver scalable, secure and innovation customer banking solutions!

In this role, you will:

  • Contribute to strategy definition and the development of roadmaps and reference architectures for Customer capabilities, in support of business strategic priorities and challenges.
  • Support project colleagues with Enterprise technology landscape knowledge of customer capabilities, undersetting of wider enterprise context and in communication etc.
  • Direct and guide change programmes in their design of changes for customer solutions, maintain oversight and play an architecture governance role throughout the lifecycle of a change project.
  • Direct, guide and support solution architects to design architectures that implement or influence the customer strategy and roadmaps in compliance with the guidance from Principles, Standards, Policies and Guidelines.

What will make you stand out?

We are looking for a candidate that has knowledge in developing enterprise architectures in support of customer capabilities and has a proven understanding and practicable experience in architecting for SVOC; customer identity and access management; digital customer experiences; customer acquisition & onboarding; customer relationship management and customer offboarding.

You will have knowledge of GDPR and other relevant regulatory requirements within Ireland, UK and EU (e.g. vulnerable customer) and a proven track record for designing enterprise level solutions. Have experience in delivering digital experiences and have demonstrated abilities in visioning and high-level solution capabilities.

Experience with any of the following will also help you to stand out;

  • Customer Journey Mapping, CRM platforms, Process Automation, Data Analytics and Digital Channels.
  • Ability to work with deep-dive technical SME's and decisive when presented with disparate technical solutions.
  • Leadership and people management skills.

The Enterprise Architecture team is part of the Enterprise Services division of Bank of Ireland. Our purpose is to align IT and business strategies, guide strategy execution, optimise technology investment and influence business strategies through the lens of being commercially and technically executable.

This is a hybrid role and can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the base location being Dublin. Travel will be required for in-person collaboration - exact frequency to be agreed with manager.
