Lead Compliance Advice Manager - Conduct Risk & Financial Promotions

What is the opportunity

An opportunity to challenge, define and shape the Bank's approach to conduct risk management and financial promotions risks to build upon and improve the Bank's control environment.

In this role you will:

  • Provide high-quality advice and challenge to 1LOD on management of conduct and financial promotions risks to ensure risks are understood throughout the organisation and to ensure they are acting to deliver good outcomes.
  • Identify new conduct risks that pose a risk to the delivery of good outcomes. Ensuring that these are effectively communicated to key stakeholders in a timely manner, ensuring a robust process for the effective reporting of the Banks' risk profile is maintained and completed in line with the Conduct Risk Management Framework.
  • Lead and develop the conduct and financial promotions risk management framework and associated policies ensuring that they promote and support the delivery of good outcomes.
  • Lead and develop new product and service approvals and product lifecycle review processes which exist to ensure that at all times the Bank acts to deliver good outcomes for its customers.

Excellent understanding of the UK regulatory environment and compliance related diploma or other external risk management qualification

Self-motivated with drive, enthusiasm and interest in the regulatory risk environment

Previous management experience desirable

Existing detailed knowledge of the Bank, its target markets and its operations
