We are recruiting for a Knowledge Assistantrole to provide high-quality support to our Knowledge Lawyers across the firm'sReal Estate, Projects, Planning and Debt Finance teams, enabling consistentdelivery of knowledge, training, and insights to our fee earners and clients. Itis an ideal opportunity for a proactive assistant who thrives in a professionalservices environment and enjoys working across multiple teams in a knowledge-focusedsetting.

This is a permanent role that can be based from our Bristol or London office. The role is full time, although we are open to considering flexible working patterns.

Purpose of therole

The KnowledgeAssistant will implement knowledge, training and publication workflows,maintain accurate trackers and folders, support legal content publication anddistribution, and ensure effective communication and administration aroundknowledge activities for Real Estate, Projects, Planning and Debt Finance.

Keyresponsibilities

In this role, youwill coordinate the full lifecycle of internal training and knowledge-sharingactivities, ensuring sessions are well-planned, clearly communicated andseamlessly delivered. This will include preparing agendas, liaising withspeakers, collating materials, arranging recordings and managing post-sessionfollow-up. You will also plan the practice group-wide traineeinduction for each March and September intake to ensure a consistent andwelcoming experience.

You will supportour Knowledge Lawyers with the preparation and publication of client andinternal materials, such as newsletters, blogs and insights, by proofreading,formatting and scheduling content, applying appropriate categories and tags,and sharing updates through the relevant internal channels.

You will help keepour knowledge estate organised by maintaining trackers, databases and documentfolders so materials are current, consistently named and easy to find. Thiswill include filing, archiving and applying version control in line with firmstandards, and producing regular summaries, meeting packs and metrics ontraining and knowledge outputs.

As our AI-enabledknowledge tools evolve, you will engage with them to support search, taggingand content preparation, provide constructive feedback on functionality, assistwith testing and training materials, and use the tools in line with governance,confidentiality and data-security requirements.

You will play akey role in onboarding by sharing core materials with new joiners, signpostingkey resources and arranging introductory training, as well as coordinatingbookings for approved external training where required. Day to day, you willtriage enquiries about knowledge resources and systems, help users find theright materials, and escalate queries to Knowledge Lawyers where appropriate.

Reporting

This role willreport to a Knowledge Lawyer within the Projects, Real Estate and Finance(PREF) practice group but will support all Knowledge Lawyers in that practicegroup. The PREF Knowledge team is led by our Head of PREF Knowledge (also aDebt Finance Knowledge Lawyer).

Who we'relooking for

We are seeking an assistant with experience ideally in a professional services environment. You will be comfortable working across multiple teams, managing concurrent workflows and deadlines, and adapting communication style for a range of stakeholders. You will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication, good organisational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. You will be adept at following clear processes, working with confidential information, clarifying incomplete instructions before acting, and operating with initiative while knowing when to escalate. A collaborative, professional, and flexible approach is essential.
