IT and Office Manager

Kody, a rapidly growing fintech company specialising in online payments and financial services for businesses, is seeking an IT & Office Manager to join our team.
We are looking for a proactive and organised individual to manage our IT systems and ensure the smooth running of our office. This role is essential for maintaining a productive and efficient work environment. You will be responsible for managing our IT infrastructure, overseeing office operations, and contributing to employee satisfaction through various initiatives.
IT Systems Management:
- Manage and configure essential IT systems, including Google Workspace, 1Password, and Slack.
- Oversee user account management, ensuring security protocols are followed.
- Provide basic technical support to employees and troubleshoot IT issues.
- Implement new software solutions to improve workflows and efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to security best practices.
- Research and implement initiatives to improve internal communications and operational efficiency, such as VoIP.
Office Management:
- Manage office equipment, including laptops, phones, and peripherals.
- Assist with general HR duties including contract creation, onboarding, off-boarding and planning events.
- Oversee the ordering and distribution of office supplies.
- Manage relationships with vendors and service providers.
- Ensure the office is well maintained and presentable.
- Open and close the office daily.
- Receive deliveries and manage incoming and outgoing mail.
- Assist with onboarding new employees, including setting up equipment and systems access.
- Manage staff gifting initiatives to enhance employee engagement.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of initiatives to improve office life and employee interaction.
Requirements
- Proficient in speaking English (and Cantonese is a bonus)
- 1-2 years of experience in IT support, systems management, logistics, or operations roles, preferably in a startup environment.
- Proficiency in managing IT systems like Google Workspace, 1Password and Slack.
- Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail in managing IT systems, office logistics and gifting initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills for effective engagement with internal teams, vendors and service providers.
- Experience with account creation, management and basic troubleshooting for common IT platforms.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Willingness to learn and grow in both IT systems and logistics domains.
- Proactivity and a willingness to take initiative
