Investment Demand Oversight Manager

What is the opportunity?

An opportunity has arisen for an Investment Demand Oversight Manager who will be responsible for supporting multiple aspects of the IDOF team and forum, working across the functions by sourcing, managing, and supporting delivery of IDOF submissions and governance output requirements!

In this role, you will:

  • Effectively communicate and support value streams and change to gain and develop business case submission to present to IDOF forum. This will involve working with value stream, Group Change, Group Finance and Risk etc to develop and produce these in a timely manner.
  • Handle and support schedule management; IDOF meeting and post meeting production requirements and best practice governance for the fortnight IDOF sessions.
  • Assist with the preparation of documentation for executive reporting for the output of IDOF and maintaining the required MI and tooling support for the forum.

What will make you stand out?

The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with or for senior stakeholders / programme managers in a large, interconnected, and complex organisation. You will have knowledge working with financial and programme data sets to drive insight, risks, opportunities, and demonstrate ability to work with tight timelines with a pragmatic outlook.

A one-team and outcome focused attitude, comfortably moving between granular and macro, across a wide variety of subjects and objectives and be confident, articulate, and a self-starter. Experience in data analysis tooling, insight collation, review, and interpretation and have strong MS office skills (Excel, PowerPoint) with effective use of clarity or Power BI.

Experience with any of the following will help you to stand out but is not vital in order to apply;

  • Experience working in a Portfolio Management or Strategy Office environment or accountancy and finance team
  • Knowledge of Agile, Lean and Waterfall delivery Methodologies
  • Industry recognised Project management Qualification, such as Prince 2 or PMP

The purpose of the Enterprise Portfolio Office (EPO) is to provide independent enterprise-wide oversight of the Group's Transformation Portfolio which includes Culture, Business Model and Systems Transformation Programmes. The Investment Demand Pillar within EPO facilitates the prioritisation and investment for the Group's Transformation agenda through delivery of the Group Transformation Investment Demand Plan (IDP) in order to delivery on the Group's Strategic outcomes and oversight of this IDP through the Investment Demand Oversight Forum (IDOF).

This job can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as Dublin to which travel will be required for in person collaboration.
