International Sustainability Business Partner

We have an exciting new opportunity for an International Sustainability Business Partner for our Net-Zero programme, to support the International CEO in the governance, reporting and delivery of key decarbonisation projects. This is a critical time to join the team following the validation of our international business's Science Based Targets earlier this year.

The successful candidate will support workstreams on data management, operational change, supplier engagement and upskilling our people on the need for our business to transition to net-zero, and their role in it.

We are happy to consider candidates who will be based in any of our 26 offices, in 13 countries across the US, Europe and Asia. Home working will be available, you will be expected to work flexibly to accommodate colleagues in different time zones, and some travel may be required.

What you'll do

Reporting to our International CEO, key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the International CEO with the net-zero programme, working closely and collaboratively with the Project Manager and multiple stakeholders across the Operations teams in the international businesses to meet agreed milestones and measures of success
• Providing regular progress reports to the International Board, Net-Zero programme board and other governance bodies as appropriate
• Assisting the development and delivery of projects that support the programme, working with project teams from across the international firm
• Advising the international business on best practices for sustainability and decarbonisation, ensuring alignment with global standards and frameworks
• Co-ordinating the international firm's approach to GHG data management and reporting, in line with international standards for reporting and disclosures, including the development of software solutions as appropriate
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and supporting business decisions to decarbonise across all scopes
• Actively manage own personal training and development, identifying any suitable development opportunities
• Any other duties that may be needed to ensure the efficient delivery of the net-zero programme

What we're looking for

• Experience of implementing strategies through hands-on, operational delivery and collaboration
• Strong listening and communication skills; ability to present, engage and facilitate dialogue at all levels
• Awareness and experience of sustainability reporting and related standards and frameworks (GHG Protocol, SBTi Net Zero standard, IFRS, GRI etc)
• Strong change management, stakeholder management and collaboration skills; ability to influence to drive cultural and behavioural change with stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
• Effective interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Experience of working at an international scale
