Job overview:

We're seeking a highly organised individual for an 8-month fixed-term contract in Operational Excellence. You'll improve the risk profile of third-party relationships across AXA Commercial and AXA Retail focussing on creating clarity of existing relationships (particularly where Delegated Authorities exist) and addressing any identified gaps in data, documentation and action plans.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive clarity and consistency of onboarding, management and oversight of supplier relationships, including a risk-based approach to MI (Management Information) standards.
• Consider systems and architecture for recording relationships of third parties and suppliers.
• Ensure that reporting and MI are setup and fit for purpose to provide regular reporting to stakeholders and regulatory bodies around third-party relationships.
• Act as an expert for third party relationships to ensure all AXA frameworks and policies are clear and consistent.
• Review and recommend any improvements to onboarding processes for new third-party relationships.
• Develop, governance and control landscape to deliver against best practice and control requirements.
• Work with UK risk teams to ensure effective documentation around exit and stressed exit scenarios are captured and documented for material third-party relationships.

Work arrangements:

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events. We're also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

Your skills & experience:

• Proven experience in third-party management, including contract management and third-party relationships.
• Strong understanding of distribution, complaints and claims business processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and able to influence across different levels of the organisation.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into clear requirements.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate ambiguity effectively.
• Experience and knowledge of working in a regulated environment.
