Information Security Governance Manager

What is the opportunity?

This is a superb opportunity to gain invaluable experience in a wide variety of Information Security domains and work with a team of skilled Information Security professionals.

The Information Security Governance Team plays a key role in Group Information Security.

In this Role, you will

  • Manage Information Security Governance activities in the organisation involving both internal stakeholders and suppliers
  • Support audit and regulatory assessment activities that require Information Security input and expertise.
  • Work with departments, existing fora, to understand regulatory changes that will affect information security policies, standards, and other related documents and communicate/recommend appropriate changes through the security organisation.
  • Support the activities of the wider Governance, Risk and Control team as required

What will make you stand out?

You will have more than 5 years experience in an Information Security role.

A good understanding of governance, and particularly in an information security context, and the fundamentals of Information Security Risk Management will make you stand out!

Strong knowledge of Information Security domains, security standards and regulations applicable to the financial sector will give you an advantage.

Knowledge and experience with a wide variety of Information Technology

Essential Qualifications

Professional body certification - minimum of CISSP or equivalent

Group Information Security is a diverse, collaborative team with multiple skillsets.

With global cyber threats constantly evolving, the team is critical to protecting one of the Group's most important and valuable assets: Information.

The team not only protect the security of the Bank but also enable colleagues to develop secure ways of working and to make secure choices both in and outside of the office.

They do this through a variety of activities, including: using technology to monitor existing and emerging cyber threats, detecting and preventing cyber attacks and engaging with business units to guide them in their decision making.

This is a hybrid onsite role and can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as ITC, Cabinteely, Dublin 18. Travel will be required for in-person collaboration - exact frequency to be agreed with manager.
