As Head of Creative, you will lead the Creative Team and take responsibility for the quality of our ideas and concepts, and deliver on commercial objectives. Setting the standard for excellence, you will help to grow our reputation for original, exciting creative campaigns and brand ideas.

As a member of the Agency Senior Leadership Team, you will be the advocate for creativity in the agency promoting the importance of creativity in everything we do, and making sure that we also have the resources, processes, and structures in place that enable us to produce outstanding work.

  • Understanding and command of Agency commercial objectives, budgets and forecasts, and KPIs
  • High quality conceptual ability - leading by example when required to come up with exciting, original, relevant campaign, content or brand ideas
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills - confident and convincing at C-suite level

The Role:

  • Build and lead a high performing Creative team - including art direction, design, copy, content, and motion
  • Work closely with senior creatives to ensure consistently high standards and seamless execution of ideas and concepts
  • Take ultimate responsibility for the performance of the creative team - quality, efficiency, productivity
  • Take a strategic view of the department, including recruitment, team structure, resources and processes - ensuring that it continues to grow and develop in line with the Agency needs
  • Lead on creating campaign and brand ideas for our clients and new business prospects
  • Ensure that the team is producing ideas that are consistently creative, distinctive, and effective
  • Work closely with the Strategy and Planning Team to help define and articulate creative strategy
  • Ensure the optimum utilisation of the Creative and Content team - reporting on agreed KPIs on a monthly and annual basis
  • Be a member of the agency's Senior Leadership team, attending and reporting at bi-monthly meetings, delivering a Board Report, implementing agreed actions, and working closely with other members of the team, with the aim of achieving the agency's goals
  • Continually review and ensure the development of team performance, including personal development, skills and expertise, productivity and efficiency, and overall growth and improvement in line with changing agency needs
  • Lead recruitment for the Creative Team in line with a strategic plan - including identifying and profiling key roles, recommending talent when appropriate, interviewing, and deciding on final appointments
