Home Underwriting Analyst

Join AXA Retail as a Performance Executive and drive the success of our Intermediary Home and Motor portfolios. You'll oversee portfolio performance, making strategic pricing and underwriting interventions to optimise results while ensuring strong governance and oversight. You'll be responsible for portfolio trading activities, leveraging your analytical skills to support AXA's business objectives through effective performance management. At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. We're also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

What you'll be doing:

• Deliver planned GWP and policy volumes for designated broker accounts.
• Manage overall COR and performance indicators for the allocated broker accounts to ensure targets are met.
• Support and quantify KPI financials and product pipeline opportunities, including underwriting criteria and product limits.
• Develop and maintain strong external trading relationships through regular engagement with key stakeholders.
• Oversee product development governance, controls, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Build and maintain internal relationships to support positive business outcomes.
• Contribute to the delivery of the Intermediary Strategy and business objectives.

What you'll bring:

• Experience working at a senior level with a solid understanding of the insurance market.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing and delivering pricing and product interventions.
• Excellent relationship management skills, with experience building long-term internal and external partnerships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to convey complex information clearly.
• A pragmatic decision-maker with excellent analytical and numerical reasoning abilities.
• Skilled in both long-term and short-term planning, with strong analytical capabilities.
• Hold sound knowledge of insurance principles and practices.
• Understand and able to apply FCA and compliance requirements to ensure regulatory adherence.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
