As Head of Trading Analytics, reporting to the Head of Research and Development, you'll play a key role in driving global revenue through pricing optimization. You'll lead a team in data collection, feature engineering, experiment design, and result analysis to uncover growth opportunities and provide actionable insights.

What you will be doing

• Lead a small team of Trading Analysts, responsible for thorough analysis of pricing and product positioning
• Oversee the creation and specification of pricing experiments and strategies, ensuring best practices are followed
• Collaborate with trading, commercial, and product teams to align data insights with business goals
• Lead the preparation and presentation of findings to stakeholders, clearly communicating the impact of recommendations
• Challenge the status quo by researching and promoting best practice methods and standards
• Continuously develop and improve pricing strategies to drive better results
• Identify opportunities to optimize processes and improve team performance
• Champion innovation and improvements within the pricing team's workflow

Who we are looking for

• Proficient in analytical tools (Python, R, SQL, Excel) and experienced in building mathematical models (e.g. regression, A/B testing, ML)
• Proven experience leading quantitative teams, delivering impactful results, and interpreting complex datasets
• Excellent communication skills, able to present data insights clearly to diverse audiences
• Passionate about sports, bookmaking, and betting, with experience in pricing/optimization strategy and Big Data technologies (e.g. Apache Spark, H2O, AWS)
