The Team

The Reward team at Dentons UKIME plays a pivotal role in shaping and implementing comprehensive compensation and benefits strategies across the region. The team is dedicated to ensuring that the firm's rewards packages are competitive, equitable, and aligned with both market trends and Dentons' overarching goals of attracting and retaining top talent. By working closely with other departments, including HR and finance, the Reward team ensures that the firm's compensation structures are designed to support career progression, promote well-being, and recognise individual and team contributions to the firm's success.

The Role

The Head of Reward, Systems and People Analytics will oversee our compensation and benefits programmes as well managing our HR systems and leading the people analytics function. This dual role will play a pivotal role in reviewing, developing, and executing our Reward, Systems and People Analytics strategies. The successful candidate will act as a strategic partner to senior leadership offering guidance and expertise as well as ensuring our reward packages are competitive, sustainable, and aligned with our firm's goals and values.

Responsibilities

Reward

  • Review, develop and deliver a Reward strategy that encompasses salary, bonuses, benefits, and recognition programmes
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align the Reward strategy with business objectives and cultural values.
  • Lead and oversee the delivery of the annual salary review process and bonus allocations, ensuring fairness and consistency
  • Conduct benchmarking analysis using Willis Towers Watson Compensation Platform and make recommendations based on that analysis
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits, pension schemes, and wellness programmes
  • Lead the communication of Reward policies and programs to ensure clarity and transparency across the Firm
  • Monitor the effectiveness of existing Reward initiatives and make recommendations for enhancements
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and best practice in Reward management
  • Manage and develop a small team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth
  • Work collaboratively with payroll and our Inclusion and Diversity team to produce the annual Gender & Ethnicity Pay Gap report and support our commitment to equitable reward practices
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders and third-party vendors.

Systems

  • Lead the development and implementation of HRIS and people analytics strategies that align with the firm's objectives and HR operational needs
  • Manage and enhance our HR systems for optimal performance and user experience
  • Lead the rollout and integration of key HRIS projects, including new performance management, people analytics tools, and workflow solutions
  • Collaborate with HR and IT departments to seamlessly integrate HRIS with other organisational systems and platforms.

People Analytics

  • Design and deliver insightful reports and dashboards that provide insights into workforce metrics, helping to inform decision-making and strategy
  • Oversee the production of regular reports and logically structured presentations to present findings and trends to senior leaders
  • Drive and champion process improvement and automation to elevate the HRIS ecosystem and deliver enhanced capabilities
  • Uphold strict data protection standards and manage sensitive information responsibly
  • Support enhancing data literacy and competencies across the HR team.

Required experience, skills, and attributes

  • Proven experience in a senior HR role with a focus on reward, HR systems and people analytics
  • Proven experience with successfully managing compensation review and benchmarking
  • Proven experience in managing employee benefits including health and risk benefits
  • Strong experience with HR systems (SAP SuccessFactors is beneficial) and a solid understanding of implementation, integration and optimisation
  • Demonstrated experience in leading people analytics initiatives, with the ability to interpret complex data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels
  • Proficiency in creating and delivering clear, impactful presentations to a variety of audiences
  • Experience in managing and developing a team
  • Previous experience of working in a professional services firm is desirable but not a requirement.
