Account Coordinator

At AXA - Global Healthcare we're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our SME Retention team as an Account Coordinator on a full-time, permanent basis in our Tunbridge Wells and Leicester office.

In this role, you' ll support the sales team with operational tasks, manage client communications, and ensure the smooth execution of retention processes across our portfolio. Your contribution will be key to enhancing client satisfaction and driving internal efficiency.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. We're also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

What you'll be doing:

• Accurately meeting the administrative needs of the regional portfolio in conjunction with the Account Manager.
• Providing support to the Account Manager with renewal quotations, membership listings and answering general queries for the broker portfolio.
• Having technical knowledge of developments to both international product offerings (e.g. benefit revisions, rule changes) and new protocols (e.g. eligibility).
• Supporting the Account Managers with keeping all databases updated to provide accurate API.
• Liaising with customers (direct or brokered) by telephone, email or in writing according to established processes and procedures.

What you'll bring:

• Previous customer service and administration within the insurance together with a proven track record of contributing to revenue growth.
• Ability to connect with a variety of people over the phone and in writing.
• Customer focused, with the ability build rapport whilst conducting yourself in a professional manner.
• Ability to challenge when needed.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, well organised with the ability to manage time effectively.
• Supportive and approachable team player.
• Experience of working in a Global Insurance Market would be desirable.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.

This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
