As Head of Design - Gaming - in the UK or Dublin, you're the driving force behind the design vision and execution across our gaming portfolio. You set the quality bar and inspire teams to create elegant, scalable, and inclusive design solutions. You will be part of the design leadership team tasked with setting a high bar of exceptional customer experiences that drive engagement.

You'll be leading our Gaming Product Design team - a multidisciplinary group of five talented product designers, researchers, and motion designers. Your team is part of the wider product design org compromising of 25 designers spread across London, Dublin, Tel Aviv, Bucharest and beyond, this team creates exceptional experiences for millions of players globally. Our collaborative environment values creativity, inclusion, and continuous improvement, with research and experimentation at our core.

What you will be doing:

• Defining and upholding the quality bar for gaming design experiences at evoke whilst creating the conditions where great design work can flourish - through systems, rituals, coaching, and critique.
• Ensuring design outputs are scalable, inclusive, and consistently aligned to brand and product vision.
• Embedding design thinking into strategic planning and translating business strategy and user insights into compelling, data-informed product experiences.
• Being an advocate for simplicity and clarity, particularly in complex gaming environments where we need to balance the needs of first time customers as much as that of seasoned customers

• Lead and grow a high-performing, inclusive design team - developing future leaders and design talent. You'll model emotionally intelligent leadership and create a psychologically safe environment for teams to do their best work.
• Collaborate with senior cross-functional partners to influence strategic decisions and prioritisation.
• Define and champion the Gaming Product Design Vision, aligning teams and partners behind a shared direction, you'll shape a design-led culture by advocating for design's strategic role across the organisation.
• You'll be a clear, confident voice for design, from high-level storytelling to tough prioritisation conversations whilst partnering with Engineering, Product, Research, Data, and Brand to deliver cohesive experiences, aligning stakeholders around shared goals and elevate design within the organisation.

Who we are looking for:

• In-depth experience managing product design teams, ideally in gaming or digital consumer products with many more years of design experience behind you with proven leadership experience in a senior design role, preferably in gaming, betting, or complex consumer digital products.
• A portfolio (team or personal) that showcases elegant solutions to complex problems and design leadership at scale this will show a deep understanding of user-centred design, inclusive design, and systems thinking.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence at all levels with experience building, mentoring, and growing diverse design teams.
• Strategic mindset, with comfort in balancing short-term delivery with long-term vision with a passionate about player safety, responsible gaming, and ethical design.
