RESPONSIBILITIES
- To build and maintain effective relationships with the senior leaders in the business using consultancy skills, where required, to deliver the people aspects of the business strategy.
- Coach senior managers in people issues related to the performance of the business area e.g. performance management, senior recruitment, talent management with a focus on behaviours and business performance improvement.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the key business drivers and commercial context with the ability to align them with the company strategy and People policy and practice.
- Drive process improvement and best practice both in People Operations and across the wider business.
- Move towards more of a business partnering People model empowering Line Managers.
- Evolving the existing performance management process to drive increased engagement and productivity.
- Responsible for recruitment and retention ensuring the appropriate strategies are in place to continue to attract and retain the best talent for the business.
- Ensure delivery of all "Business as Usual" People projects against plan to ensure delivery is on time and on budget
- Working in conjunction with the Training and Development Lead, responsible for developing the training and development strategy across the business for the management of the training and development budget.
- To abide by Allan Webb company policies and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications:
This will be an all-encompassing role with a strong blend of strategic, tactical, and operational activity.
You will need:
- Exceptional commercial acumen and judgement
- Significant HR/People generalist experience gained within a highly commercial, dynamic organisation
- Experience working within a business undergoing significant growth
- Proven team management / leadership experience
- The ability to work and communicate effectively across all levels of an organisation, with proven evidence of successfully engaging with a diverse workforce
- Excellent knowledge of managing complex TUPE and ER cases and diverse client groups.
- A resourceful, resilient, pragmatic and confident team player who thrives on challenge and ambiguity
- Clear bias for action
- Minimum Chartered CIPD

This is an exciting opportunity to join Allan Webb with good career progression as we continue on an impressive growth path. The role will predominately be remote working with occasional visits to the Allan Webb offices or client's site.
