Job overview:
As a senior member of AXA UK's Internal Communications team, you'll lead AXA UK's content and channel strategy and act as central delivery lead for all internal communications across the business. Working closely with the Strategic Internal Communications Business Partners who advise and support our business units and support functions, you'll translate business priorities and communication needs into integrated, audience led internal communications across channels, campaigns, leadership activity and large meetings and events. You'll lead a specialist team responsible for bringing internal communications to life through compelling content, engaging experiences and effective digital and offline channels. Your role is central to creating a more focussed, consistent and one company approach to internal communications across AXA UK.
Key responsibilities:
• Define and lead content creation, channel management and editorial standards for all internal communications.
• Translate business priorities and communication needs into integrated, audience led communication plans.
• Partner with Strategic Internal Communications Business Partners to prioritise and coordinate communication demand across the business.
• Develop and own editorial planning, workflow and prioritisation processes to ensure high quality, well sequenced delivery.
• Lead the strategy, development and continuous improvement of internal communication channels and engagement mechanisms.
• Oversee delivery of major organisational announcements, engagement campaigns, leadership engagement and large scale events.
• Establish clear governance, standards and scalable delivery processes including the use of AI (artificial intelligence) across the Content and Channels team.
• Lead, coach and develop a high performing specialist team.

You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events. We're also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.
Your skills & experience:
• Significant experience leading content and channel strategy and internal communications delivery in large, complex organisations is essential.
• Deep expertise in editorial planning, channel management and audience-led communication.
• Strong editorial instinct and proven ability to translate strategic business priorities into high-quality, engaging and integrated communications.
• Experience developing integrated campaigns, content and events across multiple channels and formats.
• Strong understanding of channel strategy, colleague engagement and modern communication approaches including the use of AI tools.
• Management of communication workflow, prioritisation and delivery within a high volume, fast paced environment.
• Outstanding stakeholder management skills, with ability to partner effectively with senior leaders and a wide range of internal stakeholders including communication business partners.
• Experience leading high profile communication activity, engagement campaigns and large internal events and meetings.
