This role will offer the chance to gain an in depth understanding of the group's process and technology landscape as well as simplify, automate and improve its effectiveness and efficiency. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across Finance and Technology as well as our third-party partners.
You will be a key member of the overall Finance team with responsibility for shaping and executing finance transformation activities for Record to Report processes.

Role overview:
Key Role Responsibilities:
• Together with Finance Process and Technology manager, Infosys and other finance/technology stakeholders, execute the roadmaps for transformation across finance processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in financial operations through the effective use of technology.
• Manage incoming business requests and build up a demand queue. Coordinate with Finance and Technology stakeholders to identify and remediate pain points.
• Manage 3rd parties including BAU transformation and CI services
• Identify, mitigate and report on Currys risk and impact on operational performance during transformation
• Drive initiatives and projects including project management, business analysis, requirement gathering and impact assessments.
• Manage Currys delivery of improvement activity including the implementation of system fixes and automated tools
• Champion continuous improvement mindset, standard processes and maximize the use of incumbent technology tools including SAP S/4 HANA and Blackline.
Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience
• Process and Technology understanding - Strong background in process improvement, technology implementation (SAP preferred but not required) and finance processes (RtR and/or accounting is preferred).
• Stakeholder Management - Manage and influence senior stakeholders
• Written and Verbal Communication Skills - able to tell a complex story in a compelling manner via all means of communication
• Problem Solving - Analyse and understand complex data and situations to recommend the optimal solution
