We're currently seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to join our People Services team in Bolton on a full-time permanent basis. If you have a background working within an HR Shared Services environment and a passion for helping others, we'd love to hear from you!
As an Employee Relations Advisor, you'll be responsible for triaging our customers to the most appropriate solution, whether that's providing advice over the phone, managing cases through our case management systems in and MyWorkday, or supporting managers during team calls. The tasks within the People Services ER team are diverse and include providing guidance on absence, flexible working, management of fixed term contracts, new starter occupational health, OH / workplace assessments, equipment procurement, and performance improvement.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.

What you'll be doing:
• Managing a portfolio of MyWorkday cases.
• Ensuring issues are escalated as appropriate.
• Actioning workflow to ensure activity is prioritised.
• Maintaining the quality of the data in MyWorkday.
• Managing data integrity and ensure standards for audit requirements are delivered that meet legal and business requirements.
• Responsible for provision of HR support and advice to employees, managers and candidates.
• Administering the processes and provision of advice and guidance ER.
What you'll bring:
• Experience of working in an HR Shared Services team.
• Customer focused with the ability to connect with a variety of people over the phone and in writing whilst conducting yourself in a professional manner.
• Analytical, highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
• Understands and demonstrates the importance of Data Protection and its associated risks.
• Stakeholder Management experience.
• Computer literate with experience of MS Office and HR systems.
• CIPD qualification would be advantageous together with experience of providing ER advice at Tier 1 & 2 level.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
