We arelooking for a Senior Associate to join our highly regarded Employment team inBristol, where we are ranked in the top tier by The Legal500 and Chambers & Partners and have been for more than 20 years.

You would be joining one of the leading and largest Employment teams in the UK, with theopportunity to provide advice on aspects of contentious and non-contentiousemployment law both nationwide and internationally. Thepractice

The team provides a fullservice to clients in the UK and internationally across advisory, employmentlitigation and corporate transaction services. The team also works closely withour Incentives, Business Immigration, Pensions and Health & Safetypractices.

Exceptional Technological Support

The team works closely with our dedicated and industry recognised OsborneClarke Solutions team to be at the cutting edge of harnessing legal tech andAI.

International

We have extensive experience in international employment law matters (beingable to call on employment lawyers in 26 international locations), allowing usto represent truly international clients. Our team also has experience of managingcross-border employment projects and our lawyers have the opportunity to takepart in our international secondment programme..

Complex Work

The team is also well known for their work on complex issues such as restructuring,restrictive covenant work, reputational risk management and data privacy. Weoperate across a variety of sectors and are regarded as one of the 'go-to'firms across the financial services, telecoms, technology, recruitment, retailand media & advertising sectors.

We work for a fantastic range of leading clients such as Vodafone, DiageoRalph Lauren, Hargreaves Lansdowne, PwC,Deckers, Motorola, Mamas & Papas and Air Canada..

The team is truly "full service" and has strength and depth inmany areas including: Employment Tribunals (one of the team is an EmploymentJudge); TUPE (we represent one of the World's largest professional servicefirms on TUPE matters); industrial relations (our team has recently beeninvolved with the Central Arbitration Committee and regularly advises on tradeunion and industrial action issues).

Theteam

TheBristol team is made up of 4 Partners, 2 Legal Directors, 2 AssociateDirectors, 2 Senior Associates, 5 Associates, 1 Trainee Solicitor and 1Solicitor Apprentice. We also have two dedicated andsenior knowledge lawyers who support the team.


Technical skills and experience

Due tothe technical nature of the practice, we are looking for evidence of experienceof working on a range of Employment matters. As a guide, due to the nature ofthe work and the structure of the team, we are looking to appoint a SeniorAssociate in this area, although we will consider candidates with more or lessexperience.
