Drop in Volunteer (Feildes Weir Lock Vegetation Cutback)

**Join us at Feildes Weir Lock on Tuesday 30th September @ 10:30am for a vegetation cutback.**

There are a number of poplar tree saplings which are beginning to establish around the lock, come along and help us to remove these before a forest grows!

We will meet at Feildes Weir Lock for a briefing at 10:30am (what3words ///lazy.supply.robot). If you are searching on google maps look for Fieldes Weir Lock, CM19 5EX.

**How to get there.**
Feildes Weir Lock is a 13 minute walk from Rye House Station. There is very limited parking at the end of Rattys Lane (EN11 0RF). Therefore, if you are arriving by car, I would advise parking and walking, one option is Rye House Car Park (EN11 0EQ).

Please note there are no Welfare Facilities at Feildes Weir Lock.

All tools and equipment will be provided. Please wear sturdy shoes and suitable clothing for the weather. There will be a chance for a tea/coffee and a biscuit too but please bring your lunch.

This event is a great opportunity to get involved, meet new people and make a difference.
