**How to get there:** There is parking and facilities at River Palace Cafe (Dobb's Weir Rd, Roydon, Hoddesdon EN11 0AZ), from which it is just a short walk downstream to the lock. If you are coming on public transport, the closest station is Broxbourne which is a 1.5 mile walk away.
All tools and equipment will be provided. Please wear sturdy shoes and suitable clothing for painting and the weather. There will be a chance for a tea/coffee and a biscuit too.
Our opportunities offer a great way to keep fit, meet other local Trust Volunteers, learn new practical skills and spend a few hours outdoors improving your local waterway.
