We're hiring for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our Media Innovation & Activation team in Manchester.

Purpose of the Role

As Digital Marketing Executive you'll support the account manager in the efficient, accurate planning and execution of online display campaigns whilst developing your knowledge in all aspects of Digital planning from initial strategy stage through to activation.

You will implement and execute all aspects of Display campaign planning with a high degree of accuracy, in line with the agreed strategy, to maintain, develop and exceed client performance targets. Applying a basic level of digital strategy in all planning solutions, with guidance from senior team members

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively source and suggest digital planning opportunities for clients, providing rationale to justify your recommendations, including supporting evidence
  • Produce digital rationale documents explaining choice of media selection, phasing, and device
  • Make recommendations for the most appropriate attribution models, demonstrating the ability to proactively explain the role of digital as part of a broader campaign mix
  • Be proactive in seeking industry updates to demonstrate knowledge of the Digital Marketplace
  • Attend briefing meetings with client's & the client service colleagues, assessing the quality of briefing information and taking the lead in approaching client service teams with concerns & potential solutions
  • Utilise all relevant digital planning systems and tools including Comscore, Nielsen, Hitwise and Google Analytics

Qualifications + Skills

  • Experience from a media background with knowledge and understanding of digital and publisher campaigns
  • Hands on in proactively solving problems and interpreting data with a good knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Able to work collaboratively with new and existing stakeholders to deliver results against campaign KPIs and audits
  • Proactively driven in your own development and in raising your commercial awareness of the industry within channel specialism
  • Proven track record of working under pressure and to tight deadlines, working as part of a team
  • Experience of media planning is preferable and knowledge of industry tools such as CCS, Hitwise, Comscore, iAnalyse and DCM would be beneficial but not essential

What we offer

This is a permanent role and can be based in our Manchester office, operating under flexible working arrangements. The team are typically in the office once a week, every Thursday.
