Overview:
The Global People Organization (GPO) Regional People Lead will serve as a key strategic partner to senior leadership, advising and leading people-centric initiatives across the region. This role will oversee the alignment of people strategies with business objectives, drive talent management practices, and ensure the development and implementation of programs that foster our high-performance culture. The Regional People Lead will play a pivotal role in driving employee engagement, workforce planning, and ensuring operational excellence while ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on people-related matters, including workforce planning, talent management, and organizational effectiveness, ensuring alignment with regional and global objectives.
- Partner with other business leaders to address specific challenges, ensuring people programs are effectively integrated into all aspects of business operations. Provide data-driven insights and solutions to enhance decision-making.
- Collaborate with global and regional People leadership teams to design, implement, and execute comprehensive People strategies that support business goals and enhance employee performance and development within the region.
- Lead the design and execution of talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies. Develop effective workforce planning processes to ensure the right talent is in place to meet business needs, both short- and long-term.
- Oversee the professional development of the regional People teams, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and tools necessary to support the business effectively. Provide coaching and mentorship to People leaders within the region.
- Lead the creation, implementation, and enforcement of people policies, procedures, and best practices across the region. Ensure compliance with local labor laws, industry standards, and organizational policies, mitigating legal and operational risks.
- Champion initiatives to drive employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, driving feedback loops, and creating programs that recognize and reward contributions.
- Lead and support organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and sustained momentum. Guide leaders and teams through periods of change, fostering adaptability and resilience.
- Promote and sustain a culture that aligns with A&M's global vision and values. Ensure the region's people practices reflect the organization's commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and innovation, and are tailored to the local work environment.
- Develop and manage the regional people budget, overseeing vendor relationships and external partnerships to maximize operational efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure optimal allocation of resources to support people initiatives and business needs.
Key Requirements:
- Extensive HR experience, with recent experience in leadership roles managing multi-regional teams
- Significant experience in the professional services sector
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Professional HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) highly desirable
- Proven track record of success in global HR operations and service delivery
- Strong understanding of HR practices and labor laws across multiple countries
- Experience in change management and organizational development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to influence at all levels
- Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively in diverse environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
