We seek a highly accomplished Director of Curriculum (Land-Based) to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our unique college. The Role:

In this senior leadership role, you will provide strategic direction and leadership for the land-based curriculum, encompassing Agriculture & Countryside, Animal Studies, Greenspace, Veterinary Nursing and Equine. You will be a champion for curriculum excellence, ensuring it aligns with college strategy, national priorities, and employer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide visionary leadership: Develop and implement a land-based curriculum that is innovative, inspiring, and prepares students for thriving careers.
  • Drive curriculum excellence: Lead curriculum development, resourcing, monitoring, and improvement to ensure the highest quality teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • Foster a dynamic learning environment: Motivate and empower your curriculum areas to deliver exceptional land-based programs.
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships: Build strong relationships with industry stakeholders and external partners to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
  • Resource effectively: Manage budgets and resources to ensure the successful implementation of the land-based curriculum.

About You:

  • Proven track record: Experience leading curriculum development and implementation, preferably within the land-based education sector.
  • Strategic vision: The ability to translate strategic goals into a dynamic and impactful land-based curriculum.
  • Exemplary leadership: A strong leader who can inspire, motivate, and empower curriculum and colleagues.
  • Excellent communication: Exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Passion for education: A deep commitment to education and its potential to transform students' lives.
