What you'll be doing:

• Leading the end-to-end design process for your product domain, partnering with product managers, CX professionals, content marketing strategists and engineers to iterate and oversee the user experience of a digital product experience from conception to launch
• Creating user flows, wireframes, UI designs and prototypes when appropriate, and work with front end developers to ensure design system components are included and accurately executed in our component library as part of the software development process
• Ensuring our digital design and visual language is consistently applied and conforms to AXA group digital brand guidelines, and adhere to the latest WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards
• Being an active participant and contributor to the AXA Health and UK&I digital design community, sharing best practice, and leveraging cross group capabilities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of digital design and development
• Playing an active role in discovery, user research and usability testing of your designs and prototypes, ensuring designs meet user needs, and products are intuitive and easy to use
• Becoming a primary member and contributor to AXA Health (and UK&I group) Figma design system. Managing the development, expansion and evolution of the design system, component library and visual language

What you'll bring:

• Proven experience building, designing, launching and managing consumer quality digital products and services
• Strong understanding and practical experience with design prototypes for multiple devices and break points
• Competent with design tooling such as Figma, Illustrator and After Effects
• Ability to work collaboratively with people at all levels across engineering, product management, product marketing, user research, CX and other business areas to co-create solutions to customer problems
• Agile mindset to identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods to use, including measuring and evaluating outcomes
• Proactive and relentless approach to self-improvement and appetite to stay in tune with digital business, the latest design methods and standards including accessibility and market trends
• Customer focused with an in-depth understanding of user centred design principles, and represent the customer in all decision making
