Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer

What is the opportunity?

This exciting role allows you to make a real impact within New Ireland's Compliance team. Support the senior leadership in meeting regulatory obligations, lead key AML and financial crime responsibilities, and collaborate with executives and partners, gaining valuable insights and expertise.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaboratewith the Head of Compliance on regulatory responsibilities.
  • Develop and implement AML, CTF, and FS frameworks to protect clients and the business.
  • Prepare annual reports for senior management and the Board with informative compliance assessments.
  • Lead all aspects of Financial Crime risk indicators and supervise compliance, identifying key trends for improvement.
  • Serve as the primary contact for Financial Crime matters with law enforcement.

Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to provide thoughtful, practical solutions are critical, especially when engaging the senior leadership team. Deep knowledge of financial crime compliance and the flexibility to adapt to evolving requirements will allow you to thrive.

Essential Qualifications

ACOI, LCOI or QFA qualifications.

The Compliance team is pivotal in handling regulatory and conduct risks to deliver trusted financial services. Operating as the second line of defence within a three-line model, the team sets standards and monitors against material risk categories, collaborating across the company to keep compliance aligned with the best operating practices and business objectives. This encouraging and forward-thinking team is committed to making a lasting impact in compliance.

This is a hybrid role and can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as Dublin. Travel will be required for in person collaboration exact frequency to be agreed with manager.
