Job overview:

We are seeking a Deployment Analyst to design and maintain effective intraday staffing schedules that meet operational needs and service level targets. In this role, you'll create detailed shift plans to optimise resource utilisation, adjust schedules in real-time based on customer demand, and collaborate closely with operational teams to ensure staffing aligns with short-term fluctuations. You'll manage shift assignments, time-off requests, and hour exchanges within workforce management systems, balancing productivity, cost efficiency, and compliance. Additionally, you'll conduct scenario modelling and impact assessments to evaluate staffing variations, supporting smooth and responsive operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure all planning deliverables are completed accurately and on time, following the weekly planning cycle.
• Develop and manage detailed intraday staffing schedules, balancing contractual obligations, priorities, and real-time demand.
• Proactively monitor and adjust schedules, creating contingency plans to respond to short-term demand changes.
• Analyse operational metrics to generate insights that improve forecast accuracy and performance.
• Prepare weekly resource forecasts with strategic recommendations for stakeholders to support service targets.
• Manage overtime, leave, and scheduling adjustments, balancing operational needs with employee wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate workforce management data and ensure shift schedules align with demand profiles and SLAs.
• Collaborate with the planning team to analyse forecast variances and support continuous improvement through data insights.
Work arrangements:

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.

Your skills & experience:

• Extensive experience with industry-standard platforms (e.g. Verint, Genesis), including optimising and troubleshooting complex scheduling and forecasting modules for dynamic operations.
• Strong analytical skills to create accurate short-term and intraday demand forecasts using historical data, trend analysis, and scenario modelling.
• Expertise in analysing operational metrics, KPIs, and real-time data to identify performance patterns and generate actionable insights for planning.
• Proven ability to design, implement, and adjust detailed staff schedules that balance productivity, service quality, compliance, and cost in fast-paced environments.
• Skilled at early identification of scheduling conflicts, demand fluctuations, and disruptions, with the ability to develop effective contingency plans quickly.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with operational teams, leadership, and external partners, translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
