We arelooking for an Associate or Senior Associate to join our highly regarded CorporateTax team and be based in any of our UK offices (London, Reading or Bristol).

In the UK the nine partner Tax Group covers four teams -Corporate Tax, Incentives, Private Wealth and Tax Litigation. Thepractice

OurCorporate Tax team is a strong, three partner team which operates as one teamwith lawyers currently based in London and Bristol. As one team spread acrossoffices, we are used to being agile and support flexible working practices. Wealso work closely with colleagues within Osborne Clarke including ourinternational offices and especially from our private equity, funds, corporate,real estate, projects, and banking teams.

The teamenjoys a varied and quality work load for mainly UK mid-market andinternational clients. We provide our clients with tailored UK and cross-bordertax advice that helps them meet their business objectives and our work rangesfrom stand-alone tax advisory mandates to transaction linked advice. Weundertake complex tax structuring mandates particularly for funds, real estate,private equity and corporate clients. Our reputation is for giving technicallyexcellent advice that is commercial and user-friendly regardless of whether weare providing strategic support or working under pressure on a transaction.

The team ispro-active and forward looking, an approach which generates significantadvisory work for the team and allows team members to develop specialisms inareas of interest. We seek to build strong and long lasting relationships withclients and colleagues. We are closely aligned to Osborne Clarke's sector andtransformation strategies and particularly active, with strong clientrelationships, within the areas and sectors of technology, media andcommunications; real estate and infrastructure; financial services; andhealthcare and life sciences.

The team

TheCorporate Tax team is currently made up of 3 Partners, 1 Legal Director, 9lawyers, 1 Trainee Solicitor, 1 Solicitor Apprentice and a dedicated KnowledgeLawyer.

We work asone team, offer an excellent training programme and support for external studyand actively support each team member's career development.

Our approachensures our lawyers are technically excellent and have rewarding careers withina collegiate working environment.

Technicalskills and experience

Thesuccessful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience gained from workingwithin a transactional and/or advisory tax practice. They will have strongtechnical abilities and be able to demonstrate their understanding of UK andinternational tax rules and structures. We encourage applications from bothcandidates with broad technical expertise and those who may be a specialist inone or more of the areas within the practice areas noted above, particularlycandidates with a strong real estate or funds background.

Due to thenature of the work and the current team needs, we are ideally looking toappoint an Associate/Senior Associate.
