Corporate Pensions Risk Champion

What is the opportunity?

As a member of the Corporate Pensions team, you will have the opportunity to engage with colleagues across all teams in Corporate and New Ireland, gain valuable insight and understanding of our business operations, and contribute to the development of a strong risk management culture; embedding the Group values across the Department.

In this role, you will:

  • Be the point of contact for Risk Event and Issue management
  • Ensure all Risk Events for the Department are recorded on RADAR within guidance
  • Support Risk Owner for Risk Events that meet threshold for Technical Forum within New Ireland
  • Share data from RADAR reports with owners to ensure appropriate actions taken in timely manner to remediate
  • Review and act on RADAR reports and support analysis of Root Cause Analysis and preventative measures, including introduction of new controls, to stop events from reoccurring

What will make you stand out?

An understanding of the RADAR risk management system and ability to extract, review and produce reports. Ability to meet remediation timelines and maintain and support good quality data on RADAR. Understand Data Breach guidance requirements. Engage with colleagues and Risk Owners to ensure RADAR data is accurate and complete. You have a strong customer focus with good attention to detail and problem solving skills, along with exposure to operational risk experience in current or previous roles. An appreciation of customer requirements and an ability to work on your own initiative is key. You are known to have excellent communication, administration and organisational skills. An interest in financial markets combined with a willingness to complete industry exams (QFA) will ensure you can become qualified to do the job.

Essential Qualifications

3rdlevel qualification or experience working in the financial services industry.
