Senior Associate Solicitor - Commercial Insurance

DWF are currently seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join their Commercial Insurance team.

The Commercial Insurance team work with a prestigious client base and handle a diverse range of insurance claims, both domestic and international. DWF offer an option of Hybrid Working with 50% at home and 50% in office.

Responsibilities

• To manage your own caseload of property related claims, and also assist as a part of a wider team on various large loss matters
• Understand client requirements and manage cases in line with service level agreements and best practice
• Analyse risk and further develop sound judgement enabling the justification of decisions to clients internally and externally
• Prioritise work effectively and to maximise efficiency in working practices
• To provide support and act as the 'go to person' for more junior members in the team

What will help you succeed in this role?

Essential Criteria

• At least 5+ years PQE working on property damage related claims for insurers
• Technical expertise and a strong interest in Commercial Insurance matters generally
• A proven track record of delivering results within strict deadlines and timeframes

Desirable Criteria

• The ability to communicate and manage often complex issues for both internal and external stakeholders
• A self-motivated individual who can also effectively coach and develop others within the team
