Job overview:

Are you passionate about delivering impactful digital products in the insurance domain? We're seeking a proactive Product Owner with knowledge of claims processes and Guidewire platform technology, to support our Product Managers. Acting as the voice of the customer, you'll manage complex, multi-squad products and translate strategic business objectives into actionable features to ensure that delivery meets user needs and business goals.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Product Managers and squads to refine, prioritise and maintain the product backlog aligned with the overall product roadmap.
• Translate stakeholder insights, customer needs and business objectives into well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Lead or participate in squad ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Reviews, Stand-ups and Scrum of Scrums.
• Develop a strong understanding of AXA's technical landscape, including Guidewire platform functionality and claims journey end-to-end.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication of priorities, dependencies and resource needs.
• Use data and analytics to monitor product performance, measure feature impact and inform future prioritisation decisions.
• Conduct user research, gather feedback and incorporate findings to optimise the claims journey and improve user experience.
• Support the squad in adhering to AXA's enterprise and business architecture principles and best practices.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.

Your skills & experience:

• Experience as a Product Owner or similar Agile role managing complex, multi-squad products.
• Significant knowledge of Guidewire Claims Center and claims management systems.
• Strong claims journey knowledge (end-to-end) and understanding of insurance processes.
• Experience managing backlogs, prioritising work, and translating these into actionable stories.
• Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and working effectively in Agile teams.
• Data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to analyse product performance metrics.
