Consultancy Services Business Manager
Location: Flexible (UK-wide) - Preferred: Telford or Coventry
We're hiring a Services Business Manager to support our growing Consultancy team. This new role is all about business operations, process efficiency, and financial management-helping to keep things running smoothly as the team scales.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Managing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for the consultancy business.
• Overseeing timesheets, project quotes, and internal processes to improve efficiency.
• Working closely with consultants, engineering teams, and leadership to drive operational excellence.
• Supporting contract reviews, invoicing, and resource planning.
• Driving continuous improvement across processes, KPIs, and reporting structures.
What We're Looking For:
• Experience in business operations, consultancy management, or a similar role.
• Strong process improvement mindset-always looking for better ways to do things.
• Familiarity with financial systems and reporting (SAP, BFO, BFS knowledge is a plus).
• Understanding of tendering, contracts, and commercial processes.
• Someone comfortable working across teams, aligning stakeholders, and driving accountability.
The Details:
• Location: Flexible (UK-wide), with a preference for Telford or Coventry.
• Travel: Occasional, to meet consultants and support business needs.
