Job overview:

Wehave anew opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to joinour risk and regulatory portfolioona6-month fixed term contract.You'llwork closely with theDelivery Lead,third party suppliers, internaldeliveryteamsandstakeholdersto collaboratively deliver amajor upgradeofakey technologyfor AXA. ReportingtotheDeliveryLead,you'llset up and driveproject meetings, capturing, driving andmonitoringissues and risks. You'll work across the project team toensuredelivery ofrequired outcomes to time,costand quality.

Key responsibilities:

• Managingthird partydelivery partnersand internal delivery teamsto ensurea successfulprojectoutcomethatenables desiredbenefits.
• Identifyingand proactively managing project stakeholders,including thirdparties,ensuring effective engagement at all levels.
• Reporting progress at regular intervals,advisingproject steering committee of any deviation from the plan, escalating risks and issues asappropriate.
• Responsibility for ensuring that issues,risksand dependencies areidentified, owned, managed, mitigated,resolvedor accepted asappropriate.
• Managing internal and external project communication,including managing information flows betweengovernancelayers and any internal or external teams or suppliers.
• Implementingthe agreedgovernance framework and producingrelevant artefacts,in line withtheprojectgovernancerequirements.
• Trackingand controllingprojectspend, reportingcosts and raisingappropriate escalationswhere needed.
Work arrangements:

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events. We're also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

Your skills & experience:

• An industry recognised project management qualification e.g.APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ)with demonstrable project management experience.
• Ability to influence, bring teams together and work collaboratively towards a goal.
• Exceptional stakeholder and third-party management experience essential.
• Demonstrable experience of implementing large, complex technology interventions preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independentlyusing initiative and judgement to make decisions, whilst also informing and escalating appropriately.
• Experience of planning, budgeting and business case preparation for complex, large-scale projects.
• Confidence working in a collaborativeteam environment, balancingsupportand challenge to get the job done.
