Please note you must live in the jurisdiction for the business to which you are contracted.

This job can be done anywhere in the UK with the primary office location as Belfast, Northern Ireland to which travel will be required for in person collaboration. Exact frequency to be agreed with manager but is expected to be a minimum of 3 days per week in the Belfast area (main office, branch or attending customer/intermediary meetings).

In this role you will:

  • Take personal accountability for the service being delivered to our customers
  • You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with our SB&A customers and intermediary base.
  • Identify key internal and external customers and develop a clear understanding of their requirements to provide the appropriate advice, information or service offering
  • Support business growth by proactively identifying and referring opportunities for new business including liaising with the business managers.
  • Maximise business opportunities for the wider NI franchise
  • Take full responsibility for Conduct Risk Management within your role
  • Effectively manage credit risk for your portfolio including submitting high quality credit applications ensuring an efficient credit delivery for our customers
  • Actively support the Senior Business Manager in generating positive engagement and developing a high-performing team equipped with skills and capability for the immediate and long term.

Ability to identify new opportunities and develop existing customers by engaging, building mutually beneficial and sustainable relationships

Excellent customer services skills in relationship management, evidenced by the delivery of sales and service excellence

Strong negotiation, networking and influencing skills

Good knowledge of local marketplace and in key sectors (small business / Agri)

Previous credit / lending experience essential

Good team player, evidenced by ability to work collaboratively & supportively with management and colleagues in branch / Business Centre
