Role Overview:

As a BI Developer, you will play a key role in developing and growing 55/Redefined's data strategy and analytics capabilities. You will build data pipelines, create data models, and develop interactive visualizations that drive business decisions. This role offers significant opportunities for professional development and increasing responsibilities as you progress within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytics requirements
• Integrate data from various sources (e.g. CRM, marketing, finance) to create a unified view of the business
• Design and implement data architecture solutions
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines
• Build and maintain real-time data streaming solutions based on AWS cloud services such as Kinesis
• Create interactive dashboards and reports
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring
• Document processes and maintain data dictionaries
• Lead and contribute to data infrastructure improvements

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years of experience as a BI Developer or Analyst, with expertise in Tableau
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Experience integrating and normalising data from multiple sources
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective data visualisations and dashboards
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts and techniques
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Analytics, or a related field

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience as a BI Developer or Data Engineer, with expertise in tools such as Tableau
• Strong understanding of data warehouse/lake concepts and dimensional modeling
• Proven experience with ETL/ELT processes
• Advanced SQL skills for data querying and analysis
• Experience with real-time data streaming architectures
• Working knowledge of AWS services (e.g., Kinesis, S3, Glue)
• Understanding of data security principles
• Ability to adapt to new technologies quickly
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field
