Working hours are 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday, office and home working, with a minimum of two days in the office.

Education and qualifications:

Essential criteria

  • Qualified CCAB (Accounting qualification) or knowledge and experience equivalent to post registration/graduate degree.
  • Evidence of continuing professional and personal development.

Knowledge:

Essential criteria

  • Highly developed specialist knowledge across a broad range of Financial Accounting topics.
  • Evidence of on-going training and development through the use of short courses and structured study days to comply with CPD (Continuing Professional Development).
  • Sound understanding of Financial Reporting Standards (FRS).
  • Sound understanding of the Manual for Accounts.

Experience:

Essential criteria

  • Significant NHS experience.
  • Extensive Financial Accounting experience.
