Associate Partner Manager , Amazon Marketplace

Amazon.co.uk's Seller Marketplace is a large and fast growing business where millions of UK customers transact with hundreds of thousands of sellers, who range from individuals to large retailers. The UK Merchant Services team works with sellers to help them grow their business and succeed on the Amazon marketplace, delivering the best possible experience for both sellers and Amazon.co.uk customers. Amazon is looking for bright and ambitious individuals to build their career within its Merchant Services, specifically within the Seller Retention team.
You will join us as an Associate Partner Manager within our Seller Retention team, focused on supporting and retaining valuable Sellers through targeted interventions and business optimization strategies. This role is crucial in ensuring the continued success and growth of our seller community.
What is Amazon Merchant Services? Amazon Merchant Services covers all third party merchants' activity through Amazon.co.uk and the specific services we offer to help develop and grow these Sellers, including:
• Selling on Amazon, where other e-commerce businesses sell their products on Amazon
• Fulfillment by Amazon, an advanced fulfillment solution where Amazon directly packs and ships products on behalf of other companies
• Seller Fulfilled Prime, a fulfillment programme that allows Sellers to deliver Prime products directly from their own warehouse
Operating in a fast-moving and challenging environment, Amazon's high performance bar requires that you are self-motivated and results-driven, skilled in relationship management, can work autonomously and take full ownership of seller success metrics.

Key job responsibilities
Key job responsibilities:
• Provide targeted, time-bound support to identified Sellers to optimize their business performance and ensure their continued success on Amazon
• Analyze seller performance metrics and develop actionable improvement strategies focusing on key areas such as profitability optimization, inventory management, and brand protection
• Partner with sellers to implement business improvement strategies, including optimization of fulfillment operations, cost management, and advertising effectiveness
• Collaborate with internal teams to address seller pain points and drive process improvements
• Gather and analyze "Voice of the Seller" feedback to identify opportunities for program enhancements and operational improvements
• Support the development and implementation of scalable seller retention processes and best practices
• Work cross-functionally with various teams including Seller Support, Brand Registry, and other operational teams to resolve complex seller issues

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• Proven track record in account management, business development, or similar customer-facing roles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and relationship management abilities
• Experience in developing and implementing business improvement strategies
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in e-commerce or marketplace environments
• Understanding of retail operations and supply chain management
• Project management experience
• Data analysis and reporting skills
• Experience in working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
