Join our fast paced AI product development team in London and work on the delivery of various innovative & modern AI products from scoping, development and release.
As a Product Manager within the AI/ML product team, you will collaborate with Product and Tech leads to plan and ensure the successful execution of complex technology projects and programs. These initiatives will contribute to achieving business objectives across the world's largest bank. Leveraging your robust analytical reasoning, relationship building skills, and knowledge of AI & software, you will adeptly navigate through ambiguity and change. Your role will ensure that technology initiatives align with business goals and deliver value. You will effectively communicate with various levels of business and technology stakeholders, including senior executives, fostering productive working relationships and facilitating informed decision-making.
Job responsibilities
- Drive the end-to-end AI & software product development process, from ideation to launch.
- Define and prioritize AI product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria based on customer and business needs, data, and feedback.
- Conduct user research, market analysis, and competitive benchmarking to validate hypotheses and inform product decisions.
- Measure and evaluate AI services performance, user behaviour, and customer satisfaction using qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Develop and maintain a AI/ML platform roadmap to guide the organization's AI/ML initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource estimates, and timelines to ensure smooth delivery of technology solutions
- Act as Scrum Master / Product Manager utilising scrum, kanban & SAFe to deliver technical releases with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Cloud Engineers & DXD.
- Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to maintain project momentum
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Significant product & program management experience in the AI & software industry
- Self starter, ability to drive change in challenging and complex environments whilst delivering continuous results.
- Experience in organizing, researching and analysing client needs. You bridge the technical and business worlds, ensuring we are building the right products with a combination of vision, market/user/competitor research and usage metrics
- Experience in stakeholder management, with the ability to establish productive working relationships and influence decision-making across cross-functional teams and clients
- Experience in AI technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization
- Experience running agile within AI team & utilizing backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand ups, retrospectives & sprint reviews.
- You have strong leadership skills and the ability to independently own products or a portfolio of products end-to-end. You have a strong track record of product deliveries
- Knowledge of the ML workflow, spanning from annotation, model training, model serving, scoring, pre/post processing, productionization and feedback capture
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Knowledge of Cloud (AWS) computing and architecture, data management technologies, and ML platform tools
