Works Manager - marine/civil engineering

Danny Sullivan Group is currently looking for a Works Manager for a large dock project in Liverpool.

Ideal candidate would have marine engineering, heavy sheet piling/tubular piling experience. Project is for dock refurbishment and will include new bridge and some FRC elements to the project.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all construction aspects of this project including all work done from floating crane barges
  • Oversee works teams on piling aspects of the project
  • Oversee all concrete works including FRC aspects of the project
  • Deal with specialist subcontractors on the project and administer works packages to them
  • Report to the Project Manager on all updates related to construction on the project
  • Manage workforce on site and ensure site team operates on a safe and efficient manner
  • Maintaining equipment and manage paperwork

Experience/qualifications:

  • Must have extensive marine and civil engineering background
  • Strong track record on similar dock/marine/port projects
  • SMSTS/SSSTS
  • First Aid at work
  • Knowledge and experience of heavy sheet piling/tubular piling systems
