Workforce Analytics and AI - Senior Manager - Workforce Augmentation

About the Role:

We are at the beginning of the fourth industrial revolution, a revolution driven by the benefits of generative AI. Our recent CEO outlook survey identified the use of AI as a priority for over 75% of CEOs. Yet research by the University of Cambridge and Productivity Institute found that 58% of UK businesses surveyed have not yet deployed AI in their organisation.

KPMG have developed a methodology and series of products to help organisations on their AI journey, helping them ensure compliance with all applicable legislation and regulations as well as guiding them on where to start and how to manage the change. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Manager to join our team to lead the development and delivery of a flagship generative AI product focusing on workforce. This product will be instrumental in supporting organisations and their employees on their AI journey, empowering them to leverage the power of AI for enhanced productivity, efficiency, and innovation.

You will work alongside several KPMG Partners and staff from across the market to help sell and deliver work to our clients using this product and methodology as well as helping build the team to ensure we can serve client demand. We already have a sizeable pipeline of clients across financial services, corporates, the mid-market and our infrastructure, government and health sectors seeking our help.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to help develop the go to market strategy, build and develop a team and support our clients in a field where demand is already high and expected to grow significantly. In FY25 we anticipate UK revenues from our work related to the adoption of AI to exceed £20m with over a third of this coming from our workforce solutions. Looking forward we anticipate this to grow rapidly over the next three years and beyond.

This position can be based anywhere in the UK and travel will be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the definition and delivery of workforce product vision, roadmap, and strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs.
  • Expand and maintain a network of active and potential client relationships to strengthen pipeline and inform roadmap.
  • Manage and mentor engineers on the development side, as well as consultants on the delivery side.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform product development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, data science, marketing, sales) to translate product vision into tangible features and functionalities.
  • Manage client facing project as a product Subject Matter Expert
  • Manage the product backlog, prioritise features, and ensure timely delivery within budget and scope.
  • Conduct user research and testing to gather feedback and iterate on product design and functionality.
  • Develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies, including product launch, pricing, and positioning.
  • Monitor product performance, analyse data, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, clients, and internal teams.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in the AI and generative AI space.
  • Help recruit and develop a team to serve client demand.

Required Skills:

  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex project & products.
  • Strong understanding of the AI landscape, particularly generative AI and its applications in the workforce.
  • Experience of working within large, complex, multinational organisations,
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills including with external clients.
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies.
