Job description
Your role will include:
- acting as the functional lead, working with product owners, prioritising small changes, new features and projects based on customer impact and the Group’s agreed priorities.
- leading researching, identifying and building prototypes for new features, delivering improvements to our candidates and colleagues experiences.
- providing estimations for projects and enhancements for complex configurations.
- prioritising and leading input to the development and automation of processes across the organisation. This will often include collaborating with your colleagues across our People Platform team, and wider LBG network to identify and create solutions that bring value to our people.
- working on multiple tasks/projects at one time, handling your time and priorities for effective deliveries.
- soliciting and challenging requirements, leading and facilitating workshops, analysing data, and configuring solutions in Workday.
- configure business requirements into Workday configuration and setup in a scalable, easy to use, efficient and secure way.
- keeping yourself up to date with the latest system enhancements to provide advice and guidance to your stakeholders to support their business needs.
- supporting Workday Releases to understand new features rolling out, checking the impact, identifying new possible enhancements and regression testing for Automatically rolled out features relevant to the Application Team.
- communicating with colleagues on delivery, timelines, risk and impact.
- taking ownership for development of more junior colleagues through career coaching and mentoring.
- leading and inspiring others, keeping the team a fun place to work.
What we need from you
You’ll be self-motivated, collaborative, resilient and your ability to challenge will be critical to ensure that our processes and procedures are aligned to our People-first Value.
You'll need to evidence that you:
- solid understanding in one or more of the following areas: Absence, Time Tracking, HCM, Compensation Benefits, Talent, Recruitment or Learning is desirable.
- experience leading a functional workstream.
- experience in leading HR Transformation and Technology enabled projects / workstreams.
- take personal responsibility for delivering against agreed priorities, handling workloads and letting others know if you need additional support.
- proven record of managing people, including contractor resources, and driving hybrid teams to deliver.
- passion to invest in others, to help them develop in their careers
- have an active development plan which looks to broaden your skills and knowledge to meet the organisational demands of the future.
